The History of Sonic Haven Studios
Sonic Haven Studios was founded in 2010 by veteran audio engineer, Bartholomew "Bart" Collins. Bart, a Nashville native, had spent years working in various studios, witnessing firsthand the frustrations and limitations that artists often faced. He envisioned a space where artists could feel truly at home, free from the pressures of time and budget constraints, and empowered to explore their creative potential to the fullest.
The studio's first location was a modest space on Demonbreun Street. It started with a single recording booth, a vintage mixing console, and Bart's unwavering passion. Word quickly spread among the local music community about the exceptional sound quality and the welcoming atmosphere at Sonic Haven. Soon, the studio was buzzing with activity, hosting sessions for aspiring singer-songwriters, established country artists, and up-and-coming rock bands.
In 2015, Sonic Haven Studios expanded to its current, state-of-the-art facility on Music Row. The new studio boasts multiple recording rooms, a spacious control room equipped with cutting-edge technology, and a comfortable lounge area for artists to relax and collaborate. Despite the expansion, Bart remained committed to preserving the intimate and artist-focused atmosphere that had made Sonic Haven so special.
